Waterford referee in charge of Tipperary's opening game in Munster Senior Hurling Championship

Waterford referee Thomas Walsh will take charge of Tipperary's opening game in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship, when they play Clare at Cusack Park in Ennis next Sunday, April 23.

The match will be shown live only on GAAGO, the subscription-based online sports channel.

The other Munster Senior Hurling Championship game on Sunday April 23, between Waterford and All-Ireland champions Limerick at FBD Semple Stadium, will be shown live on RTE at 2pm.

Tipperary's senior footballers are also in action this weekend, when they take on All-Ireland champions Kerry in the Munster semi-final at Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney at 4pm on Saturday, April 22.

The referee is Cork's Conor Lane.

Tickets for both Tipperary games and this week's other games in Munster in Under 20 football, minor hurling, Under 20 hurling, minor football, senior hurling and senior football are now available to purchase via selected SuperValu and Centra outlets and online via the following link - https://am.ticketmaster.com/gaa/ 

Under 16 tickets for the Munster Senior Hurling Championship cost €5.

Under 16s will be admitted free and do not require a ticket for the senior football game in Killarney, or the minor and Under 20 games in the province.
