Ben Healy has made huge progress within Scottish rugby circles
Tipperary rugby star Ben Healy will be part of the Scotland squad for the upcoming Six Nations championship following an impressive run of performances.
The former Ireland Under-20 outhalf made his Scotland debut last summer when he was named at number 10 for the Scots in a World Cup warm-up game where they played Italy.
From there the Kilruane native has progressed to become a regular starter, scoring 27 points at the World Cup in October against Romania in Lille despite not featuring in Scotland’s opening games against Tonga and South Africa.
The Edinburgh number 10 made the switch last year as he qualified for Scotland through his mother and now he is a key member of Gregor Townsend’s 39-man Scottish squad for the upcoming competition.
The Scots get their Six Nations campaign underway when they travel to play Wales in Cardiff on Saturday the 3rd of February before they play Ireland in Dublin on St. Patrick's weekend.
The game kicks off in the Aviva Stadium on March 16th in what will be a great occasion.
