County Masters Champion, John Corry, Clonmel AC
In the county masters over 65 3k road race on Sunday last at Clerihan, Clonmel AC's John Corry emerged the winner to capture his first county individual road title.
The early pace was set by John Corry and his Clonmel AC clubmate Jim St John with the chasing pack not far behind. On the return journey John opened up a gap which he held all the way to the line to come home a very worthy and convincing champion in 12 minutes and 47 seconds.
Congratulations to John and deserved rewards for his dedicated commitment to training and all those hard runs up and down the hills around Clonmel.
