Tipperary ladies footballers get their All-Ireland senior championship campaign underway

Aishling Moloney is named on the Tipperary team to play Armagh in Thurles

Tipperary play their first game in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship when they entertain Armagh at FBD Semple Stadium at 5.30pm this Saturday.

The Group 1 game will be shown live on Spórt TG4 YouTube.

This is Tipp's first game since losing out narrowly to Cork in the round robin stages of the Munster championship.

The Premier County make just one change in personnel from that fixture, with Clara English coming in to replace Katelyn Downey.

An Armagh victory will guarantee a home quarter-final for the Orchard County.
Armagh got the better of Meath by a single point in a cracking game at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds last Saturday and are in pole position in Group 1.
The teams are -
Tipperary: L Fitzpatrick; E Kelly, L Spillane, E Cronin; C O’Dwyer, M Curley (captain), S English; L Morrissey, AR Kennedy; C English, A Moloney, E Morrissey; M Creedon, A McGuigan, E McCarthy.

Armagh: A Carr; G Ferguson, C McCambridge (captain), R Mulligan; C Towe, L McConville, D Coleman; N Coleman, C O’Hanlon; E Druse, A McCoy, S Quigley; N Reel, N Henderson, K Mallon.
