Carrick Swan GAA Club

Carrick Swan GAA Club extends commiserations to its Premier Intermediate hurling team who were defeated by West Tipperary’s Cashel King Cormacs on Sunday at FBD Semple Stadium in the county final.

It was a heartbreaking end to a great year for the club’s Premier Intermediate hurlers.

The club extends heartfelt thanks to all the players and management for their tremendous efforts and commitment throughout the year.

While the pain of this loss is still fresh, we have no doubt that the experiences of 2024 will serve as a foundation for future success for this very talented group of players.

The Under 21 hurlers’ re-arranged championship opener against Killenaule will take place at Páirc na nEalaí at 4pm on Saturday.

The Under 17 footballers achieved a good victory over the combination Clerihan/Grangemockler/
Ballyneale team at Páirc na nEalaí last Saturday.

The team’s next game is against Ballingarry on October 27. The other team in the group are Kilsheelan-Kilcash.

Last week, the Under 13 hurlers had a good runout against Moyle Rovers in a challenge game at Páirc na nEalaí in preparation for their next Winter League game in Cloneen against St Patrick’s on Sunday at 10am.
