Tipperary hurlers qualified for the league quarter finals with a 1-24 to 1-21 win over Cork at Semple Stadium.
They are now away to Dublin for a place in the last four.
It completed a great day for the Premier County at the stadium following the footballers win over Louth.
Tipp led 0-15 to 1-9 at half time with Jason Forde top scorer with 0-6 with two each from Sean Curran, Ml Breen and Bonnar Maher among the scorers.
A Billy McCarthy goal proved crucial for Tipp in the second half and although Cork put in a strong finish they were unable to catch the home side who now travel to the capital in the quarter finals.
