The launch of the new 'Jungle Challenge' fundraiser took place amongst great excitement in the Malthouse last Friday night as our 24 brave contestants were revealed in Templemore. The competitors were all present with many local personalities taking to the stage in the JK Brackens fundraiser 'Jungle Challenge' which takes place on Saturday April 6th in Templemore. A broad mix of quality contestants will take to the stage that evening in what is one not to be missed.

Taking on the challenge on April 6th at Our Lady’s will be Lyndon Fairbrother, Dee Ryan, Eddie Bergin, Katie Gleeson, Michael “Cecil” Tierney, Aoife Percy, Stephen Cahill, Jill Ann Quirke, John Dunne, Stephanie Clarke (Centra), Darragh Doyle, David Kelly, Louise Quinn, Jordan Moloney, Martina Kennedy, Stephen Quinlan, Helen McGrath (Garda College), Paddy Delaney, Niamh Kennedy, Patrick Fennell, Shane Purcell, Fearghal McDonnell, Jason Kirwan and Eanna McBride.

All of the above were suited and booted for the photo shoot before they danced with 'Sally the Snake'. Most were fine with Sally although there were a couple of pale faces. The contestants will now set about their fundraising ahead of the Live show so we ask you all to support these brave souls as they attempt to become King or Queen of the Jungle. Well done to all taking part. It is an exciting new fundraiser and no doubt we will hear much more about it over the coming weeks.
