Congratulations to Martin Bourke who was the Hall of Fame recipient at the Mid Board awards night which took place in the Ragg in Tipperary last Saturday night.

The richly deserved award was just recognition of Martin’s outstanding contribution to the G.A.A. at all levels including all aspects of the association.

Friday night saw the Mid juvenile board present their medals with Brackens collecting the U-13,15 and 17 A football medals. Well done Martin.

Templemore had a connection to Na Fianna’s brilliant All-Ireland club hurling success in Croke Park last Sunday.

Jack Meagher played at wing forward for the Glasnevin club and his mother Fiona is a daughter of Park Road native P.J. O’Toole. His father Stephen is a native of Ashbourne in County Meath. A proud day for the O’Toole family.
