Day 1 for the new recruits at Templemore Garda College
Just days after 120 gardaí were celebrated at a graduation ceremony in Templmore, 171 new recruits have had their first day of training at the Garda College.
In a post on social media, the college said;
"On Friday, we proudly said goodbye to the 120 newly sworn members of An Garda Síochána attached to Intake 243, as they set out on their journeys across the country.
"Today, we welcomed 171 new recruits through the gates of Templemore Garda College as part of Intake 252. They've just completed Day 1 of Stage 1, Phase 1 of their training.
"Best of luck to them all as they begin this important chapter!"
