Holy Week Ceremonies in Templemore

Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday and the following are details of the Holy Week Ceremonies.


Good Friday: Day of Fast and Abstinence.
Trocaire Walk in the Park at 11am.
Passion of Our Lord: Templemore at 3pm.
Stations of the Cross: St Anne's Church Clonmore 7.30pm - Confessions at 7pm.
St James Church Killea: 7.30pm - Confession at 7pm.
Prayer Around The Cross: Church of the Sacred Heart Templemore at 9pm.
Holy Saturday: Easter Vigil in Templemore Church at 8pm. - Easter Fire will be lit at 7.30pm.
Easter Sunday: Dawn Mass in Town Park at 6.45am.
Templemore Mass: 9am and 12noon
Clonmore - 10am
Killea: 11am.

1916 Rising Commemoration

The Annual 1916 Rising Commemoration will take place as usual on Easter Sunday at 11 am outside the Town Hall in Templemore. We have the great honour in announcing Senator Denis O'Donovan, the Cathaoirleach of Seanad Éireann will deliver this year's oration.
Senator O'Donovan follows in the footsteps of Senator Mark Daly, Deputy Sean Fleming and Deputy Jackie Cahill to name but a few. All welcome.
