Trudi truly a terrific night for Templemore Ladies Football Club

"Four Roads" led to Templemore last Tuesday night for a fantastic night of Country music - Templemore Ladies Football Club's fundraiser.
Trudi Lalor, one of Irelands leading female country artists and top Tipp FM DJ, didn’t disappoint her many fans, some who had travelled long distances for a hugely entertaining evening.
Trudi was joined on the evening by the legendary TR Dallas, Mick Flavin, Paddy O'Brien and PJ Murrihy. Newcomer John McNichol proved a big hit with the crowd with his energetic performance.  The atmosphere in Our Lady's School Hall was electric from start to finish. Although it was a seated event, some fans could not resist the urge to dance in the aisles!
Templemore Ladies Football club have secured a ground sharing arrangement with Our Lady’s school for use of their pitch. The funds raised through this event go towards the purchase of rear-goal nets and towards providing toilet facilities.
The club would like to thank all who supported the concert, Our Lady’s School (and Seanie!) for providing the venue and the local businesses that facilitated the sale of tickets.
A big 'thank you' to those who sponsored the raffle prizes including Ailish & Enda Hennessy Fiacri House, Ger Maher, Eddie Moran Horse Racing Ireland, Murphy’s Pharmacy and John's Hair Salon. Finally without the team of club volunteers who gave of their time, experience, ideas and support it would not have been possible to run what proved to be a very successful night out -take a bow!!
Best of luck to Maria, Elaine and Tipperary senior ladies who play Cavan next Sunday in the league final. Well done to Erin Bourke and Maria Connolly who are part of Tipperary U16 team who defeated Cork in the Munster semi-final last Saturday.
