On Saturday, April 26 2025, Thurles Tennis Club will host the Annual John McNally Memorial Golf Classic in Thurles Golf Club.
This will be the fourth year of this event following a very successful and enjoyable classic last year.

The format with be a 4 person champagne scramble competition at a cost of €180 per team (food included).
Tee box sponsorship is €50.
There will be music in the clubhouse at Thurles Golf Club that evening from 6:30pm.
The core aim of this event will be to generate the funding for the construction of two new outdoor tennis courts on the TUS campus at Nenagh Road, Thurles.
According to Peter Broderick, Chairman of Thurles Tennis Club: “This is a very exciting project and we are delighted that work on our new courts have commenced with a completion date expected by early summer.

“Thurles Tennis Club are committed to developing a thriving tennis club in Thurles with facilities to cater for all ages in the town and the surrounding area.
“We would like to thank everybody for their continued support and we are looking forward to a great day’s golf and superb entertainment that evening.”
