Mo Chara Animal Rescue, located in Moyne, Thurles, have issued an urgent appeal to the public after the rescue service found they are missing a number of cat traps.
In a post on social media, the voluntary-led charity said:
"PLEASE ALL SHARE!! CAT TRAPS!!
"Does anyone out there have any traps belonging to the rescue.You could have borrowed it from either the shop in Thurles or the vets in Cashel.

"We are in desperate to get them back as we have people looking for them.Please text 087 2577182 if you have one to organise it's return.
"I hate to do this, but next year there will be €150.00 deposit on each trap loaned. This will be refundable on it's return."
Mo Chara exists to improve the welfare of Irish Animals, particularly those that are abused, neglected and abandoned across Tipperary.
