A new survey has found that one town in Tipperary has been named the best place in Ireland to take your driving test.
The new study, undertaken by Chill Insurance, examined driving test centre data across Ireland to identify where learner drivers have the best chance of passing.
The town of Thurles in Tipperary came out as the top-performing test centre, with the highest average monthly pass rate at 70.4%, alongside relatively low no-show figures (4.6 per month) and strong scheduling rates.

While wait times sit at just over 15 weeks, its impressive pass rate and number of applications scheduled make it a leading choice for learner drivers, the survey found.
