Liberty Square, Thurles
The Thurles Fair on the Square has been announced for the summer of 2026.
This year’s edition will take place on Friday, July 3, getting underway at 2pm in Liberty Square.

The fair will comprise of craft stalls, facepainting, balloon modelling, and street entertainers.
Buskers will perform along Liberty Square from 2pm to 5pm on the day.
As well as this, a tribute band music trail will go on throughout the day, with several acts performing in various pubs around the town from the evening into the night.
A Neil Diamond tribute will be performed in Skehan’s Bar from 5pm to 6pm, followed by an Elvis Presley tribute from 6pm to 7pm in The Arch Bar.
A Joe Dolan tribute will be performed in Brennan’s Bar from 7pm to 8pm, followed by an Elton John tribute from 8pm to 9pm in Millea’s Bar.
Hayes’ Hotel will host a David Bowie tribute from 9pm to 10pm, before the festivities are rounded out with a Garth Brooks tribute in The County Bar from 10pm to 11pm.
