Mo Chara Animal Rescue - Bravo Bessie is full of sunshine

Bessie is a gorgeous wheaten terrier mixbreed. This little lady is full of sunshine! We think she is about 5 years old but this joyful girl has the world of love to give! Bessie came to us from North Tipperary Pound where she had been surrendered – we can’t fathom why!
Bessie is friendly and playful without being too excitable. She is great with other dogs and she adores people of all ages.
Bessie will play fetch, happily plodding about after the ball for hours on end. She also knows how to ‘sit’ on command and walks very nicely on a lead. She also seems to be house-trained as she hasn’t had any accidents in her indoor kennel overnight.
Bessie would fit into any family whether it’s a busy household with kids who are looking for a friendly playmate or a quite home with an elderly person who is seeking a gentle companion – all she asks for is a little love, a full belly and a warm, safe bed!
Bessie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and has been treated against fleas and worms.
As with all of our dogs, Bessie is seeking a home with a secure garden for exercise and with people who will welcome her into their home as part of the family.

The Mo Chara Walk & Talk!
On Sunday May 20th we are hosting an informal, fun dog walk from our rescue kennels at 3pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for you and your dogs to socialise with other pet lovers and their dogs as well as giving you the opportunity to meet the rescue dogs and our volunteers! All we ask is that all dogs in attendance are up to date on their vaccinations and that they are not aggressive with people or other dogs. The walk will last for 40-60 minutes at a leisurely pace! We will need extra hands on the day to make sure all of the rescue dogs can partake in the walk too! We will also have a qualified dog trainer and a groomer on hand to answer any of your questions about pet care!

Don’t forget our charity shops are now open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm (Thurles: Knox Hall, and Cashel: Main Street).
