Just under 120 new homes were completed in Tipperary in Q1 of this year
Just over 100 homes were completed in the county of Tipperary in the first quarter of this year, new figures have shown.
117 homes were completed across the county of Q1 in this year, new figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) has shown.
The figures come from the CSO's New Dwelling Completions Report for Q1 2025.
The housing figures show that in Carrick-on-Suir, six homes were completed in this period, while there were nine in Thurles.
Roscrea-Templemore saw the most homes completed in Q1 with 41, while there were 18 in Nenagh.
Seven homes were completed in Newport, 16 were completed in Cashel-Tipperary, while nine were completed in Clonmel, with 11 completed in Cahir.

Nationally, there was an increase in new home completions in the first quarter of 2025, with 5,938 new dwelling completions in January, February, and March of this year, a rise of 2.0% on the same three months of 2024.
Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, James Browne said that the new home completion figures will be welcomed by families nationwide who will live in these homes.
"Today’s figures are to be welcomed – and will be very much welcomed by the almost 6,000 families who will avail of these homes. That said, this Government is committed to delivering on very ambitious targets. I want to scale up delivery as rapidly as possible so we can see much greater increases in the future.

"Soon I will be putting in place a dedicated housing activation office team to focus on the ‘problem’ areas which are most in need of attention to get building moving – to identify sites for housing delivery and unlock them, to call out where the system is lagging, and to impose the solutions we need," the Housing Minister added.
