Gardaí in Tipperary Town have arrested a male and seized over €5,000 of suspected drugs in Tipperary Town.

At around 2.30pm on Thursday, gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit assisted by gardaí from the Community Policing Unit executed a search warrant at a house in the Glenview Square area of Tipperary Town.

During the course of the search gardaí seized suspected cocaine with an approximate street value of €5,000.
The suspected drug will be sent for analysis.

Gardaí also seized in excess of €1,100 in cash along with scales bags and other drugs paraphernalia.
