A terrifying road incident has caused outrage among locals after a driver allegedly “pulled straight out” in front of another vehicle on the Galbally Road, leaving the shaken motorist fearing the worst.
In a message shared online on the Tipp Town community page on Thursday, the person involved pleaded: “Hi could you post anonymous please.”

They claimed the driver “pulled straight out in front of me coming from the Galbally Road” before speeding away from the scene.
The post continued: “And drove off as I pulled in shaking.”

The motorist said the situation was even more alarming because there was “a newborn baby in the back”, and issued a direct appeal for greater awareness on the roads.
“I hope you realise there was a newborn baby in the back and have more consideration,” the post read.

The writer added that the incident was not isolated, stating: “Not the first time it has happened.”
The message ended with a stark warning to other motorists: “Drivers please slow down. The roads are a scary place now.”
