According to timeanddate.com, sunset today will push out as far as 5.45pm in places across the country.

The West of the country is to get the latest sunset ranging between 5.46pm and 5.43pm.

The East is to see sunset between 5.25pm and 5.30pm today.

According to Met Éireann, Sunday will be cold, bright and breezy with sunshine and scattered showers, most frequent over the western half of the country.

Some of the showers will be heavy with the chance of hail.

Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees with fresh, gusty westerly winds.

Clear spells and scattered showers on Sunday night, the showers mainly confined to Atlantic coastal counties. With a chance of hail and sleet.

A cold night with frost and ice in places with lowest temperatures range of -1 to +3 degrees and moderate southwest winds.
