LATEST: Met Éireann issues yellow weather warning for Tipperary

Met Éireann has issued a yellow weather warning in Tipperary for heavy rain.

The warning comes into effect from 4am, Tuesday, July 9, until 4am on Wednesday, July 10.

Met Éireann say rain will be heavy and persistent with a risk of localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.

The status yellow weather warning applies to Leinster, Cavan Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon and Waterford.
