ALERT: Weather models predicting Irish weather in September could be a scorcher!

One weather model is continuing the trend to bring warm and settled start to September, according to forecaster Alan O'Reilly. 

He added: "Too far out yet to be confident but looking good for next weekend and first few days of September at present.

"Some interesting signals on longer range weather charts with a chance of high pressure building close to Ireland for start of September but details this far out uncertain yet.

"Maybe some back to school weather even though the schools are back before 1st September these days!"
