Carrick-on-Suir artist Annette Glascott will exhibit and sell her work at Carrick-on-Suir Library to raise funds for The Hope Foundation next week.
The exhibition will officially open at the Library next Wednesday, July 5 from next 6pm to 8pm and continue until Wednesday, July 12.
On display will be oil paintings, watercolours, coloured prints, black and white prints of Carrick, greeting cards and book marks. Annette first produced the black and white prints in 1987 and they are now in homes worldwide.
Light refreshments will be served at the exhibition opening event. If no art work “catches your eye’” a donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
The exhibition’s beneficiary, The Hope Foundation, works with poor street children, their families and communities in Kolkata in India.
