A Poetry Plus open-mic session where writers can recite their work or the work of other scribes takes place in the tearoom of Carrick-on-Suir's Brewery Lane Theatre tonight (Friday, September 29) at 8pm.
This the first Poetry Plus session after the summer break.
Writer and creative writing tutor Margaret O'Brien, who organises Poetry Plus, invites writers to bring something to read or simply come to listen and enjoy what the night brings.
For those coming for the first time, the Eircode for the theatre is: E32 HD74. Entry costs €5 and includes refresments.
