The exhibition can be viewed during opening hours at Clonmel Library

The South Tipperary Art Group (STAG’s) 56th Annual Art Exhibition is now running at Clonmel Library, having been launched last week by the Mayor, Richie Molloy.

There will be sixty-plus beautiful artworks on display and for sale at reasonable prices in watercolour, line and wash, oils, acrylic, pen and ink, pencil and mixed media, as well as ceramics and sculptures, by 47 adult members of STAG.

The members involved in this exhibition come from Clonmel and surrounding areas as well as Golden, Newcastle, Fethard, Carrick- on-Suir, Ballinamult, Cahir, Ardfinnan, Lismore, Waterford City and the Ukraine.

A deposit will secure any item in the exhibition.

Many thanks are extended to Robbie Cantwell, who takes all the photos for STAG for its exhibitions and during the year for the South Tipperary Art Group’s website.

Contact the Organiser Maureen Purcell at 086-8096823 for any information about joining STAG or to buy an artwork from the premises that display them; Befanis Restaurant, The Showgrounds, The Outpatients Corridor at Tipperary University Hospital and Slievenamon Golf Club, Lisronagh.

Junior STAG will continue for two more Saturdays, up to and including Saturday June 29.

Members are requested to attend with all their artwork and art materials.
