A new strain of potato blight, resistant to prevailing fungicides is causing concerns for growers. Stephen Robb visits a farm in Tipperary to see how they're combating every potato growers nightmare.

As well as this he visits Teagasc's Oak Park Research Farm to see how scientists and farmers are going to make sure that they do all they can to fight the  blight!

Also on the show Dave Kavanagh is a dedicated grower at Bare Acre Farm in North County Dublin, where he cultivates an impressive array of vegetables and flowers for the farm shop.

Saying goodbye to a way of life is never easy, but after 35 years in the business, Sligo farmers Donie and Maura McKeown decided to off sell off their pedigree Limousin beef herd in July of this year.

Darragh Mc Cullough accompanied Donie and Maura to the sale as they waved goodbye to their beloved animals with fingers crossed that the prices would be good.
