New bridge in Killaloe and Ballina.
A town in Tipperary will feature on RTÉ's Nationwide programme on RTÉ One at 7pm tonight.
The programme visits the towns of Killaloe in Clare & Ballina in Tipperary, which are soon to be celebrating the opening of a brand-new bridge.
An old bridge has linked both towns for almost three centuries and the addition of this new bridge has meant that the council can now hold a pedestrianisation trial on the old one.

The trial aims to pilot a more pedestrian and cyclist-friendly route on the existing bridge between Killaloe and Ballina.
