Upperchurch Christmas Night Walk
Is on Sunday, December 17, at 6.30pm. Registration from 6pm in Upperchurch Community Centre. Cost: €5. At the high point of the walk there will be a pause for mulled wine or fruit juice and a mince pie followed by a Carol Service. Tea and refreshments afterwards in Upperchurch Community Centre. All are welcome!
Holly Walk
Mid-Tipp Hillwalkers 27th annual Holly Walk was led by John G O’Dwyer on Sunday, December 10.
It was a relaxed walk on forest tracks in the magnificent Glen of Aherlow.
Certainly a Christmastime experience for the 34 hardy participants.Outdoor refreshments provided by Dan, Eoin, Tom and Donal. Thanks very much. Apre walk, the group enjoyed a lovely relaxed time beside the fire in the Aherlow House Hotel.
This coming Sunday (17 December ), A and B walks leave from opposite the fire station in Cashel at 11am.

John G O’Dwyer, Chairman of Pilgrim Paths Ireland, will present an illustrated talk titled: "Rediscovering our Pilgrim Paths" in the McAuley Centre, Templemore, on Thursday, December 14, at 8pm.
