Can you find me?
The Maxi Zoo pet store in Clonmel is calling treasure hunters of all ages to join them during the St. Patrick’s Day and Easter bank-holiday weekends as it hosts two fun events for pet parents and families to enjoy!
The store’s traditional St. Patrick’s Day Snake Hunt returns on Sunday, March 18, and will be followed by an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31, with both events taking place from 12pm to 4pm.
Children participating in each event will need to follow clues to find nine letters scattered throughout the store. Once found, they will need to arrange the nine letters into a word to claim their prize.
Parents can help their kids along the way and successful sleuths will win prizes of goody-bags for the Snake Hunt and Easter Eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt while stocks last. Parents are advised to bring children early to avoid missing out.
The store’s pet experts will also be on hand during the day to share their expertise with pet parents on how to make the most of spring and the improving weather conditions and brighter evenings.
Pet-parents who want to learn more about the importance of pet nutrition and the benefits of natural and grain free nutrition are invited to attend a series of free Real Nature Demo days at the store on March 18th, 24th and 31st.
“Many dogs produce less waste after switching to grain-free food. This helps to reduce the size of their stools as well as the number of times that they need to relieve themselves,” explained Darren Spoonley, Head of Sales and Marketing at Maxi Zoo Ireland.
“Grain free foods are also easier to digest. They improve skin health give your dog a shinier, softer coat and also boost their energy levels,” he added.
