Dancing Diary

Premier Ballroom
Dancing in The Premier Ballroom Thurles on this Sunday night, the 15th April to the very popular dance band ‘CHECKERS’. Dancing is from 8.30pm to 11.30pm and the admission price of €9 includes tea and biscuits.

Set Dancing
Set Dancing continues in St Canice’s Hall each Monday night at 7.50pm sharp. All are welcome.

Line Dancing
Line Dancing class for beginners will continue in St. Canice’s Hall on Wednesday night April 11 and anyone wishing to join should just come along at 8pm.

Make a Wish Foundation
Fundraising Dance on Saturday 5th May Resource Centre Cappawhite 9.30pm. Music by Peter Burke €10. Tea provided. Donations of cakes, buns etc would be appreciated. Tickets in all shops, Armshaws Bar, Aisling Armshaw and Cecilia.

Mike Denver plays The Ragg Thurles on April 15th. Doors 9pm on Stage 10pm.

Trudi Lalor and guests
Templemore Ladies Football Presents Trudi Lalor and special guests Mick Flavin, John McNichol, Paddy O’Brien, PJ Murrihy and TR Dallas at Our Lady's Secondary School, Templemore on Tuesday, April 24th at 8pm. Tickets cost €20 and are on sale from Greys, Ryans Gala and O’Connells Centra in Templemore.

Irish rock band Aslan make a welcome return to Golden Kilfeacle GAA complex on Saturday 4th August, 2018. Tickets cost €20 and will go on sale for this fantastic summer show from May 1st.

Papa Zita's
Ireland's definitive Motown/ Soul Big Band experience perform at The Source for the first time. This ten piece outfit deliver an incredible performance of all those 1960's classics we all know and love. At The Source Arts Centre on Friday 20 April 2018 at 9pm. Tickets €12.

Ciaran Rosney and band
Ciaran Rosney and his Band have hit the road and the reaction so far has been fantastic with a full house greeting him wherever he goes . Ciaran will play the Rackett Hall, Roscrea on 14th April.


MacDonagh Museum
A function will take place in the MacDonagh Museum on Friday 20th April at 8pm to honour a number of people from Cloughjordan parish who have made a notable contribution to various aspects of Irish Life over the last 150 years. Those honoured will be Captain Tom Walsh, Kyle; MJ Costello, Cloughjordan; Sergent James Somers, Cloughjordan; William Spain, Moanfin; Michael Gleeson, Ballinamurra and William Hodgins, Cloughjordan.
