Full house as Tipperary women in business meet to build new connections

Over 100 women attended a County Tipperary Chamber event aimed at connecting women in business throughout the county.

Held in association with Abbott, the Connecting Women in Business saw over 100 women attend, with the event opening with a dynamic speed networking session, designed to ensure that every participant left with new and valuable business connections.

A highlight of the event was a thought-provoking and inspiring panel discussion featuring industry leaders: Annabelle Normile, Supplier Quality Manager at Abbott; Sean Corkery, Finance and Supply Chain Director at Abbott; and Aisling Ryan, CEO of Ryans Cleaning led by MC Maureen Slattery, Quality Director at Abbott.

The panellists shared personal stories, insights into leadership, and practical advice for navigating the business world, particularly for women aiming to grow and succeed in their careers.

Following a short break, attendees were treated to a motivational session with the remarkable Virginia Foley of Up She Rises, whose powerful message resonated with all in the room.

Michelle Aylward, CEO of County Tipperary Chamber said that the event aims to break down barriers and open up conversations.

"At the heart of this series is a belief that every voice matters. It's about breaking down barriers, opening up real conversations, and creating space where everyone regardless of role, background or industry can connect, lead and thrive.
