Trial pedestrianisation of the Old Killaloe-Ballina Bridge to begin next week

The county council have issued a reminder to pedestrians in the local area

The Old Killaloe-Ballina Bridge

Tipperary County Council wish to remind the public that the trial pedestrianisation of the Old Killaloe-Ballina Bridge begins next Monday, 28 July, and will run until Friday, October 17.

The trial will allow residents and visitors to walk or cycle across the bridge without vehicles being present, and it is hoped that the trial will further strengthen the bond between Ballina and Killaloe.
