RIP: Tributes to well-known Tipperary farmer who passed away in his 100th year

John Corcoran, Knockinclash, Ballypatrick, Clonmel, passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of Medical 2 & Palliative Care Unit of Waterford University Hospital

Deepest sympathies to the Corcoran family on the passing of John in his 100th year, an amazing lifespan well lived and a hard working farmer who had a resplendent farm and work ethic and was always available for good advice and a great neighbour.

John Corcoran, Knockinclash, Ballypatrick, Clonmel, passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of Medical 2 & Palliative Care Unit of Waterford University Hospital on Wednesday evening of last week in the presence of his loving family.

He is pre-deceased by his wife Breda, brothers Michael, David and Fr Will and sister Mary (Power).

After a long and healthy life he will be sadly missed by his loving sons Denis (and his wife Margaret), Liam, daughter Kathleen (and her husband Brian), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass took place on Saturday at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Gambonsfield, Kilsheelan followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
