Revealed: Tipperary people from one village travelling to west Clare for 25 years

Presentation marks 25 years of Two-Mile-Borris Friends visiting west Clare

A special presentation took place at Keane's Oyster Bar and Restaurant, Lisdeen, Clare, on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Fr Joe Tynan PP made the presentation to Michael and Bridie Keane and their family to mark 25 years of the Two-Mile-Borris Friends travelling to the west Clare region.

The event, which has become a longstanding tradition, was originally started by the late Mick Galvin of The Shambles, Two-Mile-Borris, who was originally from Moyasta, county Clare.

Also included in the photograph above was Gerry Bowe, chief organiser of the event throughout the years.
