A community group for young people in Tipperary has been recognised for its inclusive approach to working with young people.
In a social media post celebrating the win, 'Youth Work Ireland Tipperary' said: "We are proud to share that Youth Work Ireland Tipperary has been awarded the Rainbow Award+ for Inclusion and Best Practice in LGBTQ+ Youth Work for 2025–2028.
"This recognition reflects the commitment, professionalism, and integrity of our staff, the trust and engagement of our community, and above all, the courage, honesty, and participation of the young people we work with every day.

Youth Work Ireland Tipperary (YWIT) is a leading voluntary youth organisation committed to supporting young people to reach their full potential.
The Rainbow Award for Inclusion and Best Practice in LGBTQ+ is an accreditation programme run by Belong To LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland that enables youth services to create safe, supportive, and inclusive environments for LGBTQ+ young people.
