The road from Glenbane Barracks to Lattin has finally been resurfaced

There is relief in one Tipperary community as ongoing works to a busy road come to an end.

It has been reported that the road from Glenbane Barracks to Lattin has finally been resurfaced.

This road had been in such a "deplorable condition" for the past number of years that many road users had resorted to travelling on longer alternative routes.

These routes were taken rather than "subject vehicles to the potentially damaging effects of its hazardous surface."
