Tipperary animal charity boosted by huge donation

The charity is one of the main beneficiaries of a  donation worth €200,000.

PAWS Animal Rescue based in Mullinahone has been announced as one of the main beneficiaries of a  donation of around €200,000 in value from Maxi Zoo Ireland.

The Tipperary charity, which has been based in Mullinahone since 2006, is dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned pets, mainly dogs, from pounds and owners who can no longer care for them.

The donation will include much needed items such as dog food, cat food, bedding, toys, leashes, collars and puppy pads. 

Maxi Zoo has 30 stores nationwide, including at Poppy Fields Retail Park in Clonmel.
