WATCH:Kickham Plaza was filled with pride at Olympic heroics of Daire Lynch

Bronze Olympic medal for Clonmel rower

The pride of all associated with Clonmel Rowing Club at the Olympic heroics of Daire Lynch was evident for all to see at the Kickham Plaza on Thursday morning.

Following the bronze medal win by Daire Lynch and his double sculls partner Philip Doyle, Clonmel Rowing Club PRO  Paul Nugent spoke of the great pride felt by all in Clonmel Rowing Club.

Paul Nugent said it was a memorable day for the people of Clonmel, Tipperary, and Ireland and he thanked the people of Clonmel for coming out in such large numbers to enjoy the historic occasion.
