Storm Franklin is hitting Ireland through Friday night and into Saturday.
A series of serious Weather Warnings are in place. A Status Yellow Rain Warning for Connacht, Clare and Tipperary is in effect from 8pm on Friday until 8am on Saturday.
A Status Yellow Rain Warning for Leinster, Monaghan and Cavan is in place from 11pm on Friday until 10am on Saturday.
