Rockwell College Parents’ Association will hold their inaugural gala dinner on March 24.
The elegant Senior Refectory will be the venue for this black tie evening, where guests will enjoy a four-course dinner with wine in the company of some of Tipperary’s sporting greats. Aidan and Joseph O’Brien and Denis Leamy are confirmed as guest speakers for the event.
Chairperson John Stokes is delighted with the enthusiasm of the organising committee and the support of the special guests. “This is a first for the Parents’ Association of the college and we are delighted to be able to give our support to development in the college through events such as this,” John said.
Rockwell College principal Audrey O'Byrne praised the gala dinner organising committee. “Every school needs the support of its parent body to ensure a strong and vibrant centre of education for the pupils, and Rockwell College is fortunate to have such loyalty and commitment from past and current parents. This dinner will also be a wonderful opportunity for some of our past parents to re-visit the college and enjoy a unique event,” she added.
Tickets for the dinner are available at Rockwell College reception. Full details of the evening are posted on www.rockwellcollege.ie.
