An American multinational company has made a donation worth thousands of euro to a Tipperary community amenity.
Boston Scientific made the donation to Tipperary Town's Excel Heritage Centre from their charity committee this week, which will go towards the running of the popular Tipperary amenity.
The donation is worth €4,500 to the Excel Heritage Centre, and comes amid ongoing fundraising efforts at the cinema and hub for the arts in Tipperary Town.
The cheque was collected by Elaine Fitzpatrick, the Chairperson of the Excel.

In a post on social media, the local amenity paid tribute to the staff of Boston Scientific who raised the money.
"Many thanks to Yvonne Daly Ryan for nominating Tipperary Excel and all the employees at Boston Scientific who fundraise throughout the year for so many local charities."

The Excel Heritage Centre in Tipperary Town features a cinema, dance studio, theatre, arts space, The French Quarter cafe, and also houses Tipperary Town's Library Service.
