The community event focused on food will take place in Bansha

Locals in a West Tipperary village are being invited to a community evening that's taking place later this month.

The event will take place in Templeneiry Church in Bansha, and will see food be the main topic of conversation.

Chef JJ Healy will be there on the night to give a talk on food and wine, while there will also be canapes served on the night.

The event is free of charge, and there will be a raffle held on the night also.

The community evening in Templeneiry Church takes place on May 16 at 7.30pm.
