Irish singer CMAT has been praised by her fans for mooning the audience and the British public at the BRIT Awards.
CMAT - whose real name is Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson - was nominated for International Artist of the Year at the awards, which took place on Saturday night (March 2).
However, although she lost to SZA in her category, she stood out for another reason.
CMAT wore a black full length gown to the ceremony with a long cut-out in the back to reveal her bottom, and she unveiled the eye-catching dress on Instagram before attending the ceremony, with a caption that read: "Told you I was good craic."
Fans of the cheeky singer noticed she frequently showed off the back of her dress whenever the live camera was turned her way, with one X user calling her "an icon".
Another X user commented: "CMAT doing this every single time the camera lands on her is A) gas and B) the best possible thing you could do as an Irish person at the BRITS."
Another fan commented: "CMAT disrupting the Brits broadcast by flashing her bum is revenge for the UK’s atrocities against Ireland."

Others commented: "I am never getting over CMAT's bum at the Brits. Ever" and "Best thing I’ve seen on national television is CMAT’s arse actually".
However, CMAT took to her Instagram page to accuse ITV of allegedly editing the back of her dress in broadcast reruns.
She wrote: "I had the most fun ever thank you so much Brits, I am so so grateful.
"And now, for a beef. ITV you will PAY for editing my bum crack out of the broadcast reruns. Give the people what they deserve (my arse) or I will set the CMAT babies on you! This is a feud officially."

Fans agreed, with one X user stating: "Not the cameras cutting away from CMAT’s arse? It’s 10.30pm you cowards!!"
Although the reception to her dress was largely positive, not everyone was pleased.
One X user wrote: " What's the story with CMAT mooning everyone, put it away love."
British singer Raye snagged a record-breaking six awards out of seven she was nominated for, beating records previously set by Adele and Harry Styles.
She is also reportedly the first woman to win Songwriter of the Year.
