The Hills of Love will be performed in Thurles and Clonmel
The Hills of Love, a new play written and directed by Aine Ryan will be performed in Tipperary at a number of venues.
It is a co-production between The Source Arts Centre and Clonmel Junction Arts Festival.
Three women. Three love stories. A play about intergenerational women dating in rural Ireland navigating the complexities of love, lust and longing. From forgotten sweet spots to the excitement of mature dating, this witty and apt story delves into the lives of three lonely women seeking connection in a remote townland.
Terry has forgotten how to have sex. Her daughter Benny is desperate for a ‘real’ boyfriend. Their neighbour, Maura, a recently widowed publican, is excited to be released back into the seemingly ‘wild’ world of mature dating. Love and lust are on the list for three lonely women in a remote townland in rural Ireland. Will romance make their lives better or worse?!
