Karen appointed client director with leading PR firm

Leading Dublin-based PR agency Drury is pleased to announce two new appointments - Maria Hynes from Clare, who joins the agency as Client Manager and Karen Ferris from Clonmel, who has been appointed Client Director after six years with Drury.

Karen has over eight years experience in public relations and has been with Drury since 2006.

Her expertise lies in the development and implementation of strategic communications plans for clients across the public and private sector. She also has a specialist expertise advising on community and media relations for large-scale infrastructural projects. Her clients include EirGrid, Discover Science and Engineering and SEAI.

Karen holds a first class honours degree in Public Administration and an MA in Peace and Development Studies, both from University of Limerick; and has worked abroad in Switzerland, Belgium, Australia and South Korea.

She is daughter of Peggy and Jimmy Ferris, Western Park, Clonmel.
