JOB ALERT: Tipperary County Council hiring for position with salary up to €68,000
Tipperary County Council are currently seeking to hire a Healthy County Co-Ordinator.
The role of Healthy County Co-ordinator is central to implementing the local Healthy Cities and Counties initiative and Healthy Ireland programme.
Essentially, the position is responsible for facilitating, implementing and promoting the policies and objectives of Tipperary County Council for the advancement of the local health and wellbeing agenda.

Some of the requirements for the role include relevant experience in a management or co-ordination role in community, local development or health sectors. In addition to this, candidates should have experience supporting organisations to deliver actions, outputs and outcomes.
Candidates should also have a clean, current Class B Driving Licence and they will be required to have access to their own car.
A relevant third level qualification in the areas of health promotion, education, or community development is desired but it is not essential.
The salary scale is €55,641 to €67,977. However, it is worth noting that anyone who is not a serving local authority employee will start on the minimum end of the scale.
