Tipperary County Council have granted permission for over 20 homes to be built in a town in Tipperary.
The plans submitted to the council outline that the housing units will be built on Rosemount Farm Road, Barnora in Cahir.
There are 24 two-bed semi-detached bungalows that are planned for the development, which will be designed for the elderly.

The proposed development will also include new internal roadways and footpaths and new pedestrian and vehicular access.
This type of development will have key benefits for elderly people in Tipperary, as they include maintenance-free living, social opportunities, access to amenities, and increased security for their residents.
