Ballyporeen Parochial Hall

Turn back time to 1925 with Galtee Vee Valley Historical Group which is hosting an evening of music, dance, food, and chat at Ballyporeen Parochial Hall on Sunday evening, August 24 as part of National Heritage Week.

Musicians and dancers from Ballyduff will entertain with a wide range of traditional dancing and songs between 6pm and 7pm.

This will be followed at 7pm by a traditional meal and storytelling from the period.

All are encouraged to come attired in clothes of that period but it’s not obligatory. Tickets for the event cost €12 and are on sale at the Post Office, Russell’s Shop and Fitzgerald's Butchers.
