The club had the privilege of having the Liam MacCarthy Cup and Tipperary senior hurlers, Darragh McCarthy and Rhys Shelly in attendance which created great excitement.
The U5, U7, U9, and U11 groups received medals for all their hard work and effort throughout the year. The 13's received South Hurling Shield medals, a reward for the vast improvement in the group over the year. Our 15's and 17's were amply represented on the night.
The U17 South Hurling victory was recognised and the squad was also commended for being exceptional role models for all our younger groups.
Presentations were made to Jamie Swords, David Ahern, Luke O’Regan & Jojo Magee acknowledging their efforts on Tipperary Academy Squads. Euan Magee and Travis Mcloughlin were acknowledged for their part on the Tipperary Minor hurling panel- a fantastic achievement for the club, coaches, their parents and of course the players themselves.
The Juvenile Chairman, Gary O’Connor, thanked parents, players and coaches for the time and effort put into all the Juvenile groups during the year. He also stressed the need for even more volunteers in order to cater for our ever expanding numbers.
