Eileen accepted the role of Vice-Captain in 2012, before becoming Ladies Captain in 2013.
She was deemed very approachable and cordial.
Eileen produced a booklet on the Club titled:
Cahir Park Golf Club: ‘The Origin of the Club’, ‘The Often Asked Cat Question’ and ‘Stories from Holes 1 to 18’ (Facts, Legends & Folklore).
A very popular member, Eileen enjoyed playing cards, and in particular bridge.
Eileen was also a great supporter of Ballylooby Castlegrace GAA.

Our deepest sympathy is extended to Eileen’s sister-in-law Bridget; niece Sinéad and her husband Padraic Walsh; nephews Garry, Eamon and his wife Deborah; grand-nephews and grand-nieces; relatives and friends.
May the gentle soul of Eileen rest in peace.
